“On the Way”

Music and painting encounter one another through the Chinese pianist Linlin Fan and the Chinese painter Heng Li. Both left their homeland at an early age, arriving full of hope and curiosity in Germany, ready to discover the huge cultural riches oft he high culture of Europe.

Carrying the deep feelings of longing and loneliness, yet profoundly moved by their artistic experiences, the two artists meet again in Munich after many years. Their personal biographies are reworked and rediscovered through the creative process.
